FAL Aviation UK and London Ashford Airport (Lydd) are actively seeking operators interested in exploring the route development opportunities for air-taxi size services from Lydd to a number of UK and near continental destinations. The failure of EUjet at Kent International (Manston) during 2005 was disappointing for many people in the Kent market place, however the airline did successfully demonstrate the demand and appetite for travel to some key and some would say obvious destinations by both business and leisure users. The convenience of a local airport connecting other airports such as Edinburgh, Manchester, Dublin & Amsterdam was borne out by realistic pricing and yield retention by the airline with increasing load factors at the time of their demise. Our own research particularly from the business market indicates a strong demand for more convenient and accessible airport transfer to key UK and continental destinations, and we have begun discussion with a number of potential partners to mutually explore the business case for such developments.
Although launched only in July 2005, FAL Aviation has already had great successes in handling private charter and cruise connection flights through the FBO. Our dedicated handling, superb new lounge facilities, combined with the sheer convenience of being based at Lydd with its uncluttered airspace, means increasing numbers of brokers and operators are choosing to use our services. Economically booming, both West Kent and East Sussex on which our location borders means increased commercial opportunity is guaranteed for corporate aviation and private charter operators. The South East boasts a significant number of high net-worth individuals, and some of the UK's biggest businesses such as Quest International, Kimberley-Clarke Holdings, Aventis, BAE Systems, GlaxoSmithKline, Delphi, Saga and the Pfizer Group. FAL Aviation offers unrivalled service values, a totally flexible approach and very competitive pricing.
