FAL Aviation UK is an alternative fixed base operator (FBO) operating from London Ashford Airport (Lydd) in the South East of the UK positioned in a quiet, discreet and accessible location just 53 miles south of central London (30 minutes by helicopter) and less than 10 minutes by air to France. The airport is also only some 20 minutes by road from Ashford International Station, with high speed Eurostar rail connections to Paris, Brussels and other destinations. Open seven days a week, from 9am until 7pm (all hours are based on local time) but with a 24/7 operational capability subject to prior permission requests, FAL aviation represents a real alternative to the increasingly restrictive London and City airport options.
With no runway slot restrictions including weekends at the airport, and being outside the London TMA and with our own ATC, many of the increasing airport operational difficulties suffered by our competitors simply do not exist at FAL.
